Congratulations to all our athletes that participated at the Section meet!  I cannot express enough how proud we are of your efforts and performances – many PR’s yesterday!!

Girls Pole Vault – Coming into this year the record was 7’6″ set in 2014- Delaney Houseman and Makenzie Hemish both beat that record…..Delaney went 8’6″ yesterday to tie Mak’s mark from last week and Makenzie finished with 9′ for the current record.

The girls also took second in the section!

Both boys and girls have earned the Gold Status (3.75 GPA or better) in the Coaches’ Association Academic All-State Team. The boys had a 3.84 and the girls 3.88.

We also have several that earn individual Academic All-State Award.  To receive this you must maintain a 3.6 GPA or better (grades 9-12 only) and qualify for state, win your conference event, or meet a qualifying mark set by the Coaches Association. Here is the link with the qualifying standards (it says 2015 but is still the one they use). Please let me know if I forget someone – grades 7-8 are not eligible. https://www.mshsca.org/page/show/2430222-honor-rolls
